Melissa, before trying to purchase a new LCD, try to reset your phone. Hold the sleep/wake button at the top right and the home button at the same time. Keep holding until the screen go black. Sometime you have to keep holding even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it. Once the Apple logo appears let go of the buttons, your phone should now reboot. Always make sure that you back up your phone promptly so as to minimize any loss of important data. After you back it up you could also try a restore. If that does not accomplish anything, it may be time to disassemble your phone, check all the connectors, and then consider a new LCD.Hope this helps, good luck.

My iphone 4 screen has gone black, but the phone is still working. I had the screen replaced last spring and it's been working fine since then. Today it goes black but is still working. I have not dropped it or anything, I just can't see anything. Does anyone have any ideas what has happened and what can I do to fix it? Thanks.
