When attaching the trackpad/keyboard controller, the logic board was getting power, and a component next to this ribbon connector burned out with white smoke. Now the unit does not power on.
# Is this repairable or worth trying?
# Will replacing the logic board fix the problem? That's all I can see that was burned out. I was replacing the trackpad, which seems to be ok.
