I've also looked into upgrading it to something newer but I could never justify it due to how well the system has held up. Sadly I think it met the final boss with Win11: TPM required/8th gen+ CPU required.
Look I'm okay with taking the L on this XPS if need be but my issue now is if this will work I'm doing so at higher risk until I know it will work for sure, especially since this system is no longer supported by Dell. If I need to take an L on the Dell and upgrade it to 10 and stay there until 2025, so be it.
