The Device Will Not Turn on
The pony will not respond while the power switch is set to 'ON'
Batteries are Dead
Try replacing the four AA batteries located in the butt of the pony by removing the screw on the rear panel.
The Power Switch Is Disconnected or Broken
See (power switch replacement guide) to fix or replace the switch.
The Pony Has Stopped Moving, or Only One Motor Is Functioning
If your pony is responding to commands but is unable to move, or only one leg's motor is working.
The Pink Track May Be Stuck
Try physically moving the pink tracks on the front two legs. If both tracks are moving freely with no obstruction, try the pony again before moving to the next section.
The Motor(s) May Be Broken
Try replacing the motor as shown in the (Motor Replacement Guide).
The Pony Does Not Register Toys
The pony turns on and functions normally, but does not respond when given its included toys (sugar cube, carrot, apple). Petting and brushing the pony still functions as normal.
The Pony's Chest Sensors Need to Be Replaced
The main electronic board inside the pony needs to be replaced using the (Main Board Replacement Guide). The sensors are soldered onto the main board so a complete replacement is necessary.
The Pony's Leg Joint(s) Is/Are Loose
The pony's leg is limp and does not support its weight properly. The pony's leg freely hangs.
The Spring in the Pony's Leg Has Probably Broken or Come Loose
The spring will need to be replaced or reset, depending on the situation. Both can be achieved by looking at our (Spring Replacement Guide).
Volume Is Off, Low, or Distorted
The sound coming from your pony is not optimal.
Sound Is Too Low
Make sure to set the volume slider to High volume if you have not already.
If the sound is still too low, (See the Speaker Replacement Guide)
Sound Is Distorted or There Is No Sound at All
The pony's speaker may need to be replaced. Refer to our (Speaker Replacement Guide).

My daughters pony has started doing this too. New batteries, switches on for 10-15s then it beeps in the middle of its routine and goes into sleep mode before shutting down. Have been searching for a solution, but none found so far.

@pink1965 I just had the same issue and despite phone support the Zoomer company has given me no help. We’ve replaced the batteries several times, and the pony now beeps, sometimes begins to start, goes to sleep or just shuts off.

Wow reading all these comments and were in same situation. We saved a decent amount to be able to buy this for our daughter and it’s useless. New quality batteries and only stays on for 10 secs before beeping or just switching off.

I had the same issue, I opened the main chassis to see if there were any loose connections or broken wires on the motherboard. I couldn’t find any. I made sure all connectors were securely home and powered up the unit with the main chassis open (making sure pony could move freely while disassembled). Unit worked without fault. I reassembled pony and it hasn’t failed since. The process of disassembling the unit appears to have fixed the problem for me.

Manufacturer needs to respond to this battery issue. Pony turns on in sleepy mode and then turns off withing seconds. How to fix? Very frustrating!

Best way I've found to fix it is smash it with a baseball bat, stamp on it and then dispose of it responsibly at a recycling centre.

I had the same issue, and by accident my daughter seems to have found the solution. She was trying to use the unicorn in a brightly lit room. When she put it to bed in a dark room, the unicorn seemed to work normally. It seems to work with lamplight or shade but not bright sunlight

The ponies head/neck is making a clicking noise when it tries to move left to right. My daughter is devastated as I've had to take it off her because the noise is so loud and I don't want it to break further. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Loose connection inside. Remove the five triangle security screws and check the connections. Just fixed my daughter's in five minutes. Cheap flimsy electrical connectors to blame. If it happens again I will make a video and possibly a drop of super glue to each connection.

If the pony goes into sleep mode after use and cannot sense toys, move or do anything without sleeping, remove the five triangle bit screws on the bottom ( can be done with a small flathead that fits sideways into triangle screw) I had to grind one down to the exact size to remove them. Once open you will see a few colored connectors that are super cheap and come loose and undone easily. I reattached one center one and secured the others as best I could. Works great now. If you were to drop the toy or bump it hard these would definitely come loose with ease causing it to not function properly. I should have made a you tube video before I put it back together

My Pony had the clicking sound, so I’ve undone the 5 triangle screws, switched it on the mother board looks good… no loose wiring nut i still have clicking noise, so i decided to investigate the neck switched the pony back on and the pony does not register when to stop turning it’s head… too technical for my liking so I’ve put it back together again, she works well but her head does not move now…
Any suggestions???
