Back Cover

After a while, you notice that your back cover will not stay closed

Broken clasp

The back cover on the device needs to be replaced. See our guide on the Back Cover Replacement.

Device will not power on

After pressing power button, the device is unresponsive

Device is not charged

Plug the device into the power supply and allow it to charge up for a minimum of 10 minutes.

Broken power button

Try to hard reset the device by holding down both volume keys while pushing the power button. If still no response power button needs to be replaced. See our guide on Replacing Power Button.

Device battery needs to be replaced

Remove the back cover of the device. Check to make sure the battery is installed properly in the device. If the battery appears to be in working order, see guide on how to Replace Battery.

Device will not charge

When the device is connected to the charger, it will not power on

Incorrect charging cable

Make sure you are using the original USB power cable or charging dock that was included in the box with the device.

Faulty charging port

Make sure the device’s charge port is clear of dirt and debris. Place the tablet on the charging dock and allow it to charge up for up to 15 minutes. If the device is still unresponsive, see guide on Replacing Micro USB Charging Port.

Faulty Battery

If the device is still not charging after replacing the charging port, you may need to replace the battery. Remove the back cover of the device. Check to make sure the battery is installed properly in the device. If the battery appears to be in working order, see guide on how to Replace Battery

Distorted Device sound

Difficulty hearing audio from the tablet

Defective speakers

Connect an external audio source to the device via Bluetooth or audio jack to test the internal speakers on tablet. If the external speakers appear to be working properly then the internal tablet speakers need to be replaced. See guide on Replacing Speaker.

Device will not connect to WiFi

Will not connect to the internet

WiFi not turned on

Go to settings and scroll down to WiFi make sure it is turned on and try to reconnect the device.

Defective WiFi antenna

After checking to see if WiFi settings are properly set up you may need to replace WiFi antenna. See our guide on Replacing WIFI Antennae.
