If your Shark ION RV754 robot vacuum powers on but the brush roll doesn't spin or pick up debris, check this troubleshooting page for possible solutions.
Clogged Brush Roll
If your device’s brush roll is clogged, ensure that your vacuum is not powered on before removing the brush roll from it. The use of scissors will help to unclog it from the hair and debris that is constricting it. Simply cut the hair and then pull it out of the brush roll.
Broken Belt
If your device has a broken belt, there are two possible solutions for you to try:
1. Remove the belt and clean it. Then assess how bad the damage is.
2. If the damage is significant, you will need to replace the belt with a new one. You can find a brush roll replacement belt for this device through the Shark website.
Faulty Motor
A non-operating brush roll could be the result of a faulty motor in the vacuum. Check that the power switch you have the device plugged into is working. If this does not fix the issue, you will probably have to replace the motor. Click here for the link to the Brush Roll Motor replacement guide.
