Phone won't turn on
If your phone will not turn on, try some of these tips.
Hold switch on
Before taking things apart, try simply holding down the End Call button.
Drained/bad battery
If your phone still won't turn on, you can try recharging the battery. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace it and we can show you how in this guide.
Bad display
It is possible that it appears nothing is happening because the display is dysfunctional. Follow this guide to replace the LCD.
Bad logic board
If nothing else has helped, the problem most likely lies in the logic board. Follow this guide to replace it.
Water Damage
If you dropped your phone in water, remove it from the water as soon as possible. Turn it off and disconnect anything connected to it (earphones, memory cards, etc). Remove the battery and embed the phone in some rice or other material that absorbs water. Take care not to move the phone excessively to keep the water from getting inside the circuits. Wait at least 24 hours before trying to turn the phone on.
Before attempting to replace any parts, try letting the phone sit out in a dry area to let any remaining water evaporate. If the phone still will not function, the parts which were exposed to the water may need to be replaced. Use this page to find the specific guide necessary.

If your speaker is not working correctly, try these tips to fix it.

Anybody have a problem with touchscreen not working after update? Happened to me Oct. 23rd. At&t couldn't help, Samsung couldn't help. Today, it started working again. And not only one phone, but our older Mythic we saved for backup.
