Tablet will not power on
No matter what is done to the device, it will not turn on.
Press and Hold Power Button
If this does not work, continue on.
Blockage in the USB Port
The simplest solution for the device failing to turn on is to make sure that there are no obstructions in the Micro USB Port, as this may cause issues with charging the battery. Visually inspect the port to make sure it is free of debris or any other foreign object. If you find an obstruction in the port, gently blow into the port or use a toothpick to free the object. With the object removed, the device should charge correctly when the charger cable is attached. If none of these solutions work, you will have to replace the motherboard. Refer to the motherboard replacement guide.
Faulty Charger
Another simple solution to check for is to make sure the battery charger is not faulty. This can be done by exchanging your normal charger with a different micro USB charger. Allow time for the device to charge and try to turn the device on. If a different charger also fails, try charger on another device to check the charge, if works on another device, charger is not the issue. This means that the battery may be the issue and may need to be replaced. Refer to the battery replacement guide.
Faulty Micro USB port
If neither of the previous solutions work, then the issue may lie with the micro USB port. If so, then it may need to be replaced. Refer to the motherboard replacement guide.
Faulty Display
If device powers on and nothing appears on the display, refer to the display replacement guide.
Bad Motherboard
If none of the previous solutions work, then the issue may be the motherboard. Refer to the motherboard replacement guide.

Applications causing issues
Sometimes apps can run incorrectly. Power the device off and on (reset it).
Close any running applications
If resetting doesn't fix it, try downloading an app activity monitor. If you find any apps that are misbehaving (high usage when not being used), close those applications (stop it from running).
Uninstall applications
If you find that the apps that you have closed are still causing the device to run slow, uninstall them (remove from device). To do this, go to your Settings application, tap App info, Uninstall, and then OK.
Make sure that your device is up to date and running the latest software
Start by navigating to the System Updates page inside the aforementioned Settings application. Then, tap Device Software, then Check Now. If an update is available, all you have to do is follow the prompts to install it.

Tablet doesn't produce sound
Software issue
It's possible that an issue in the software is causing the device to not be able to produce sound. Try to fully restore the software on the tablet to make sure that this is not the case.
Faulty speaker or headphones
Check to make sure that your specific set of headphones is not the thing causing the issue. To do this, use them on a different device. If that set still isn't working, find a different pair of headphones and try them. If you believe that the speaker is the problem, check to make sure all speaker connections are functioning. If sound still isn't produced, your device's speaker may be the issue. Refer to the speaker replacement guide.
Faulty auxilliary jack
If none of the above works in regards to your headphones, you may have to replace the auxiliary jack (headphone jack). If all else fails, a motherboard replacement may be needed. Refer to the motherboard replacement guide.

Hello, my tablet won’t cut off. Even when I hit the start/stop button. It just restarts but doesn’t shut down all the way. It’s hard to do some of these troubleshooting items if it won't cut off. Also it is hot to touch which it has never done before. Do we have a way to take it to factory reset. I don’t care if info is lost. I just want to use my tablet again. Thanks
