Does your existing internal Ring doorbell not ring correctly? Did your Ring Video Doorbell work fine for a few events and then stopped working? Ring Video Doorbells are susceptible to a range of problems that could cause the device to suddenly stop working. Check the following possible causes to identify and solve the problems.
If your Ring Video Doorbell refuses to connect to Wi-Fi or you are not receiving notifications, there could be a problem with your Wi-Fi router channel or the router placement. See this Ring Video Doorbell Has Poor or No Wi-Fi Signal problem page instead.
Insufficient Voltage
If your Ring Video Doorbell is not ringing correctly or has stopped working, the device may not be receiving sufficient voltage. A Ring Video Doorbell requires at least 3,900 mV. Check the voltage received by the Ring device by opening the Ring app, selecting ‘Ring Pro’, and selecting ‘Device Health.’ If the Device Health page tells you that the Ring is not receiving sufficient voltage, use this Ring support page to make sure that the Ring Pro Power Kit is properly installed. The Pro Power Kit is responsible for ensuring that enough power is sent to your Ring doorbell to function. If your Power Kit is properly installed but the device is still not receiving enough voltage, you may need to replace the device’s capacitor using this guide from Ring.
Faulty Battery
If your Ring Video Doorbell is plugged in, receiving sufficient voltage, and is not turning on, the device’s battery may be defective. Replace the Ring Doorbell’s battery using this battery replacement guide.

It appears my Ring Doorbell stopped working about two months ago. I tried to reset it and it does not respond to the orange button on the back and appears to be dead. When I plug it into a power source the blue lights around the door bell are al on except for one that blinks. Initially there was one element dark and one blinking, then after a few minutes, only one was flashing. Ideas?

My ring stop working !! Looks like a dead , no response to the orange button . Just when you plug it in charge start working as a expect, but when you take it out of charge for the second letter of minutes turn off automatically. Looks like a no power but when you plug in you will see battery is full. I have no idea. What’s wrong with my ring doorbell sound like yours if you find out. What’s the problem please let me know. Thank you.

My Ring video doorbell only works on battery. It will not turn on unless battery is in place but it comes not appear to be charging battery which continues to show battery drain dropping to 90% from 100% in one day. Am I actually charging my battery or is the camera solo running on battery ? Thanks Ron
