• It's round and has a "stub" at the top of one.

• Pomegranates usually are sturdier.
• They also don't have leaves, and pomegranates are red in color.

Is this a pomegranate? Absolutely not! That's Ben Carson.

• Even though Ben Carson is a Republican, and therefore red, pomegranates are much smaller.
• Also, pomegranates don't go to debates (and complain about "Gotcha!" questions).
