LED indicator is blinking orange and red and will not take photos or record video
Memory Card is Full
Make more space on the SD card. Either delete old photos/videos to create space, or install an empty memory card.
Video Playback is Slow or Low Quality
Video playback is much lower quality or much slower than it should be
Memory Card is Not Compatible
Make sure that your SD card is of at least Class 10. Lower Class cards (such as Class 6) may cause these performance issues.
Quality Switch is Not Set to 1080p
Make sure the video quality switch is set to 1080p, instead of 720p. This will give the highest quality videos.
Computer Cannot Detect Camera
Computer cannot detect camera when plugged in with USB and the LED indicator is yellow
SD Card is not Installed or the Wrong SD Card is Installed
Make sure there is an SD card installed on the camera. The computer will not be able to detect the camera without an SD card. Also make sure that your SD card is at least Class 10.
Connection Cable is Broken or Defective
Inspect your USB cable to ensure is still functioning and that there is no damage. You may want to test the cable with another device that you know is working.
Sound Quality is Poor
Video does not have sound, or sound is muffled
Microphone May be Broken
Inspect the microphone to see if it has visible damage. The microphone is located below the lens . Refer to the breakdown guide for more information on where the microphone is located.
Wrong SD Card may be Installed
Make sure that the SD card you are using is at least Class 10. Lower Class cards (such as Class 6) may cause these audio issues.
Unsure if Cube is Charging or Not
LED indicator does not turn on when charging with an electrical outlet.
Charging Cable is Broken or Defective
Inspect your USB charging cable to ensure is still functioning and that there is no damage. You may want to test the cable with another device that you know is working. The LED indicator should blink yellow when charging properly. When battery reaches 10% charge the LED will glow orange.
Memory Card is Broken or Not Compatible
Inspect the memory card to ensure it is not corrupted or broken. Sometimes a defective memory card will interfere with charging the battery.

Hi there,
I’m having the same problem. It stopped working suddenly.
When I plug it in I’m pretty sure the power is going in through the USB cable as the magnetised part of the battery heats up! I know the cable works as I’ve used it on other devices!
Has anyone figured it out?

My cube plus when connected to my iphone does not show live footage on the main screen of the app like it is supposed to do. I had no trouble connecting to the app, just there is no live footage on the app when connected.

My Cube Plus DIED!!!
It does get a little warm while charging, but, lights don’t blink and it is not switching on. It did get on once somehow, but, now, not switching on. Any hard boot / reset settings? Tried connecting to Mac, PC, Battery Pack, 5 different chargers, no use. Need help

Hi,
I’ve never tried with a CUBE, but with some smartphones it helps keeping charging for long time, about 4-12h, to allow the LED to blink. It begins as dead but ch arges at a few milliamperes. After hours it increases slowly allowing the charger to work.

My camera works ok but if I keep it in a box for several days it smels to lithium battery.
I opened an old battery from smartphone and is the same smelling of the liquid inside battery.
The camera has no leaks so far but I’m worry if something is wrong with internal batteries.
Is it normal? Has someone else noticed it?

I just bought this thing few days ago because it was on sale. I was interested on buying this thing and so I bought it. So when I got home to I didn’t have time to open it and see how it works. So I opened it the next day to see it not working. Luckily the battery was just dead because who knows how long this thing was in the box. So I charged it for a few mins and it started to blink and orange light. So I just installed the micro sd card I bought online. When the micro sd card was installed it was green. I read the manuals that the thing came with and everything worked. I was able to take pictures and film. Everything worked out amazing it worked and there was now problems. Until this morning when I woke up it wasn’t charged anymore. Polaroid needs to do something about the battery problem or something because I was expecting it was going to last at least a year but nope. I really hope this problem gets fixed.

Hello has anyone ever had the same problem? I re-formatted the SD card to MS-Dos FAT and it still doesn’t record video. the card is empty and the best I can get it to do is record like 5 second clips and then the camera shuts down.
However I re-formatted the card again and it works fine in my sony camera. Does anyone know whether this is a MACbook issue as I used it to reformat the card in the disk utlity?
I also checked and this is a class 10 sd card.

Polaroid Cube wont charge. Charge LED lits in orange and immediately changes to green. PC detects it. It records and takes pictures while connected via charge cable to an external power source.
