Bottom of Magnifi Mini is Hot

The bottom of the sound bar feels warm or hot to the touch.

Bottom Feels Warm

  • The device is constantly searching your WiFi network to stay connected and find out if you're trying to stream audio.
  • This keeps some of the electronics in the sound bar active, even when entering "sleep" mode; this allows easy stream of music over WiFi.
  • The warmth will not damage the speaker and passes all Safety and Regulatory requirements.
  • No fix necessary

Bottom is Hot

  • Make sure you have the most recent update.
    • This update will be installed automatically on your device if you're connected to your home network.

When I try to lower the volume from remote it connects to bluetooth and when I press the plus on volume it changes from opt to aux ect in other words the only volume keys that work are the ones on the speaker. Everything else works but the volume on remote

I can't get my magnifi mini to go into dolby content?? How do I do that??

Michael Ramirez - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

Hello. If the subwoofer soundbar connection does not work the problem is always the soundbar, I have a solution. I can fix it, Polish or German shipping.

Krystian Kula - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

The soundbar works great except that it does not wake back up after I turn my TV back on. It’s set up using ARC HDMI and turns off when the TV is turned off, it just doesn’t turn back on until I do it with the Polk remote. Any suggestions? I connected to wifi so my understanding is that it updates itself to the latest firmware. It says version 33 at the bottom of the settings using the Google Home app.

Sean Smith - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

This subwoofer never worked longer than 2 months since I bought it. I was sent a replacement unit and the replacement has the same issue, will not connect to the subwoofer. My Klipsch on the other tv hasn’t had a single issue. very disappointed.

David Hagler - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

I’m not getting any sound from the tv to my polk magnifi soundbar. I’ve reset twice and still nothing. The soundbar plays music via bluetooth but not from tv. HELP

santonio722004 - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

There's a delay between tv and sound bar on all channels

Carol - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

I am really frustrated with this subwoofer, had the system for over a year, already had a replacement sent to me and the replacement subwoofer still doesn’t connect to the sound bar. Total garbage that they can’t put out an actual fix to this.

David Hagler - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

Same here David. My subwoofer issues are very disappointing and they don’t have a fix for it.

Manny Marquez -

After several attempts with customer service and downloading the firmware, i was unsuccessful. My Subwoofer will not sync. After 2 years and seeing all the issues they have had with it. I will not recommend the Polk Magnifi Mini.

Manny Marquez - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

Upon power on, there is a constant clicking sound from the main unit. How do I correct this?

Stephan Schumann - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

When I power up mini, all you hear is a rapid clicking noise from left side of sound bar.

Richard J - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

Still getting crackling sounds. More firmware updates to come?

hemal naik - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

how do i stop it from powering down? I use a voip phone service and I need to be able to hear the phone ring when someone calls in. If I break for lunch and come back and forget to power it back on I miss calls… (yes its hooked up to my computer and works great)

Subwoofer doesn't sync. I've already tried all possibilities mentioned here and still not syncing. I've also done the procedures described on the manual and nothing happens... The green LED in subwoofer just blinks in a crazy way without syncing.

After working fine for 1-1/2 yrs with a 2022 model Sony XR-75X90K using the HDMI eARC connection, all of a sudden, as soon as either the up or down volume buttons are pressed on any of the 3 remotes (Spectrum cable, Sony TV, or Polk) the sound goes off even though the TV settings still say “external speakers”. At this point the Polk remote is unresponsive. Requires a complete power down cycle to recover of everything. I then tried the OPT input wit an optical cable. Same result. Help!

grg3939 -

I cannot open the remote to install batteries for brand new soundbar. Maybe my thumbs are too weak? I don't want to scratch it up prying it open with a knife or something before even usuing it. Any suggestions welcome. This is a first for me!
