Milwaukee Sawzall 6520-21 Blade Does Not Lock or Release

Sediment/debris build up can prevent access to the blade clamp release on the Milwaukee Sawzall 6520-21.

• Unplug device from power source.
• Remove Blade Shoe Assembly.
• Dislodge any loose debris with dry compressed air.
• Any larger remaining debris dislodge with an appropriately sized prying device.
• Give a final wipe down to remove leftover stubborn debris with a damp cloth.
• Reinsert Blade Shoe Assembly.

If the Quick Lok Blade Clamp is no longer effective in holding the blade, prior uses may have fatigued the ******Torsion Spring: it is common for the spring to to be overstressed.

• To get to the Torsion spring pull off the External Retaining Ring and Front Cam 
• Next release the Lock Pin and pieces will disassemble
