If your Mayflash Arcade Stick F300 will not connect or has an unstable connection, follow this troubleshooting guide.
USB Cable is broken or faulty
If the USB cable is experiencing issues when connecting, it may be due to the cable being broken or faulty. The cable should be replaced if it has any physical signs of breakage, fraying, or overheating. Exposure to excess moisture can also damage the wires and connections inside the cable itself. For information on how to replace the USB cable, follow this Mayflash Arcade Stick F300 USB Cable Replacement guide.
PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Malfunctioning
A malfunctioning PCB can cause the device to have an unstable connection. This can be due to excess dust that naturally accumulates over time, which can be easily taken care of with a can of compressed air. Excess moisture and extreme temperatures may also cause the board to malfunction. If the device continues overheating and malfunctioning and is not due to external issues, it may be time to replace it. Follow this Mayflash Arcade Stick F300 Motherboard Replacement guide for how to replace the PCB.
Controller not connecting
If you’re having issues with the device not connecting, it could be a connection issue with the device and PC/console you’re using it with. If using a PC, check to see if the device is being connected by looking in the device manager (Windows) or system information (Mac). If using a console make sure that it is configured correctly to recognize the device after plugging it in.
Other devices causing interference
Sometimes other connected devices can get in the way of connecting a new device. Disconnect other controllers or peripherals and see if the controller can connect without interference. If this works, proceed to connect your controller before reconnecting other devices.
