When your Logitech G X56 HOTAS Throttle is plugged into a computer, are none of the buttons active or returning an input? Or perhaps the the throttle is not appearing in the network and devices page of your settings menu? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
Software is Not Present
The Software needed to run the Throttle and Joystick may not be installed or it maybe corrupt.
- Go to the Logitech support page for the X56 and download the utility software.
- Make sure that you are downloading the correct version for your device. This can be selected at the upper left of the page.
- Run the install with the throttle unplugged.
- Plug in the throttle and check again.
Damaged Logic or Power Board
With the correct software installed the device still does not appear on the device menu. The logic and power board maybe damaged or defective.
