I've been having the same problem since the update to Marshmallow 6.0 It went away after I fully recharged the watch after the upgrade, but has returned in the last few days. I've been looking for a fix for this, but LG seems strangely silent and with the upgrade to 6.0, it removed the 'return to factory default' setting. So there's no way to go back to the older OS.

I've noticed with the Urbane 2 LTE that if you go from a cellular service area to a no cellular service area and then back again to a good cellular service area the watch has trouble reacquiring the Cellular service and I have to do a power cycle reset to get the watch to reconnect with the cellular service. I brought this up with for my service provider and they said it's LG problem I brought this up with LG and they say it's a provider problem. I also have intermittent problems with the watch connecting with Wi-Fi to make a voice over Internet protocol calls. I was able to work around this by cycling the Wi-Fi off and then back on.

BATTERY NOT DEAD, JUST LOOSE CONNECTIONS!!! As another commented here, clean the contacts. So I came here to see how to open my LG Urbane, pretty sure this is a first edition watch, doesn’t have any screws on the back to take off, so I used a small flat head to pry it open. There was a gummy seal I pealed off, then removed the 3 screws to remove the mother board. There are 4 board attachments I disconnected and to remove the motherboard. Now I had access to the battery “BL-S3” and looked it up on Ebay, runs about 25 to 40 bucks. I reassembled my watch, and guess I got lucky because it’s working again and I have no issue with battery power. I’d be curious to see how many bricked LG Urbane watches could be fixed by reseeding the connectors on the motherboard.

Battery internal pin was loose that connects the outside case connection to internal circuit board. These pins are extremely small and you will need a set of tweezers to hold them. On my watch after i removed the straps i could open the back cover and didnt immediately notice the pin was missing.Removed the screws and after removing the motherboard to check the battery ,i re-asembled. Thats when i noticed the 1 pins was missing. On closer inspection i found that on the inside of the back cover are small magnets and the pin was stuck to the magnet. You need to use tweezers to reset the pin into its holder-kinda slides back into place. Put the cover on and put the watch on the charger and it works. 1 full year has past since it was last charged and it works now. Again check the inside pins are all there,on the inside under the back cover. The pins are on the motherboard mounted. good luck
