Keyboard will not take any inputs
The keyboard is unresponsive when its keys are pressed down.
Loose USB-C cable connection
Make sure that the USB-C cable is properly plugged into the keyboard as well as the computer. If the keyboard is still unresponsive, try using a different USB cable. Any male USB-C to male USB-A will work. If the keyboard is now functioning, then the stock cable is no longer working.
Faulty USB-A port on connected device
Try plugging the keyboard cable into a different USB port on your computer. If this fixes the issue, the original USB port is most likely not working.
If no USB ports seem to be working, try restarting your computer and ensuring your chosen keyboard and language settings are set up properly.
Key switch failure
If only a few keys are unresponsive, while the remaining keys are functioning correctly, the underlying key switches corresponding towards the broken keys may need to be replaced. Consult the HyperX Alloy Origins Key Switch Replacement Guide for more information; in the event of key switch replacement, the keyboard backplate and toggle indicator tab may need to be removed as well.
Keyboard legs are not standing up
The keyboard legs fail to remain standing up on their own.
Legs not on the same settings
Ensure that both the right and left legs are set to same height, which helps the keyboard to remain stable.
Legs have partially fallen out
Ensure that the legs are completely attached to the keyboard case. The legs will snap right into the case, being held in by an axel. If this axel breaks, then the legs need to be replaced. Consult the HyperX Alloy Origins Legs Replacement Guide for more information. Replacement legs can be found both on the manufacturer’s website and on third party websites like Etsy.

Keyboard sends random inputs
The keyboard is sending inputs without having pressed the keys.
Sticky keys
Some keys may be stuck and may have to be cleaned. Use a keycap remover to remove the cap by slotting it on the side of the desired keycap and pulling up. Once removed, clean the keycap with an alcohol-based cleaning wipe, and use compressed air to clean the area surrounding the key switch, be sure to remove all debris that may be stuck inside the key switch. After cleaning. Plug the keyboard back into the PC. If this does not work, reset the keyboard settings.
Keyboard keeps sliding on table
The keyboard is slippery and moves during normal use.
Clean the keyboard
Ensure there is nothing between the rubber feet and the desk that might cause the keyboard to slide. This includes debris like dust or hair that may have found its way under the keyboard. Clean the rubber with an alcohol-based wipe and allow it to dry. If this fails, install new rubber feet.
