Your cannot get your phone to turn on

Plug your phone into a wall charger or into your computer. Usually letting it charge for 5 minutes is enough for the screen to turn on. When its gets enough juice to power the screen, it will turn on and show you its charging status. If not, you probably have a dead battery. The battery needs to be replaced.

If you phone won’t turn on, the first thing you should do is check to make sure that it’s not off. To do this, just hold down the power button at the top right corner for a few seconds. If nothing happens, it means you need to replace the power button.

It is possible that it appears nothing is happening because the display is bad. You need follow the guide to replace the LED screen on the phone.

Your phone is on but no sound is coming through the speakers

The volume may be set at low or Silent. Unlock your front screen and press the volume button on the right of the screen. The volume bar will appear and display the current ringtone volume level. The background noise might be drowning out your phone.

If the external speakers work fine and you are sure that the earphones are functional, there is a high possibility that the audio jack is damaged. The only way to fix this is to either repair or replace the audio jack unit.

If your headphones are plugged in, your phone will likely to choose the headphones as the primary output instead of the speakers. Therefore, you need to remove the headphones.

If everything is working but there's still no audio, it is possible that your motherboard is damaged and it can only be fixed by replacing the motherboard.

Your phone is on but you can't call anyone

Aeroplane mode, or more commonly known as Airplane mode, is a function all modern phones have and will disable all mobile connection during flight. To turn off Aeroplane mode, hold down the power button when your screen is on. Locate "Aeroplane mode" and turn it off.

The location you are at may have bad cellular reception Relocate yourself and check for reception.

Subscriber identity module(SIM) is a little card provided by your phone company to identify you as a subscriber of their service. If you installed it incorrectly, make calls are impossible. If that is the case, re-install the SIM card and check again.

If everything is working but you still can't make any phone calls, it is possible that your antennae or motherboard are damaged. It can only be fixed by replacing the motherboard or the cellular antennae.

The display works but it does not show images properly or it shows distorted images.

The front panel of the cellphone is shattered and due to the various cracks anything shown on the LCD is not visible.The front panel will need to be replaced.

The LCD pixels may be damaged. Screen will show lines or distorted images. LCD must be replaced with a new one.

There is no other way to solve the issue but to buy the battery and replace it with old one as there is no further use for the old one anymore.

The battery may have to be flipped and placed again. The connectors must be placed aligned with the battery connectors on the device

One way of knowing that the device works for sure is if the LCD display switches on. But if the LCD doesnt work there is no way of using the device anyway. The LCD may not work if there is some faulty wiring in the circuits which may have to be reconnected or if there are some damaged wires in the circuits which may have to be replaced.

The motherboard is one of the main components of the cell phone. It contains all the major circuitry that redirects the energy from the battery to other components of the cellphone. If the motherboard is damaged the device is useless. The motherboard must be repaired or a new one can be bought and replaced with the damaged one.
