My solution tank isn’t releasing the carpet shampoo. It’s using the water but not the solution even with me holding the lever. Why could this be? It’s a brand new carpet cleaner.

Tank is leaking all the water from the bottom of shampooed as soon as I snap it in place??? Company coming into town soon and I need to shampoo the carpet!!!

I've only had this machine 10 days, water only dribbles out of upholstery tool. it worked last week. have tried holding trigger with tool lying on the floor, did not help. don't think it’s the pump as it will release solution in shampooing floor

I've only had the power scrub shampooer for 10 days and no water sprays from the hose. it has in the past. I don't think it is the pump as it still sprays for regular shampooing. have tried holding the trigger for a minute while keeping the tool at floor level, no luck.

I'm having an issue with my solution not dispensing. Water is coming out just fine, but not my cleaner.

How do you replace the small screen assembly on the front of the machine? I see a small clip but it doesn’t seem to pop off.

what happened if the minute the machine is turned on, clean wateer is running out underneath?

When I lock in my clean water tank, the water immediately leaks out to the floor and I cannot locate where the seal is broken

The cleaning solution wont mix with the water I fill both compartments one with water and one with solution the water is gone and solution still full any suggestions

Can the clear hose that feeds the water and solution to the black hose attachment be cleaned? I see thick milky residue when I pull it out a little.

Do you sell the caps for the water container? I loaned my unit out and it came back with a missing cap.

No water at all is going into the dirty water tank. This is the first time the machine ahs been cleaned so I am guessing it is not blocked anywhere. Is there a valve or something that we have not opened. Thanks

The brush assembly does not stay secure in the cleaner. When you put the machine upright the brush assembly falls down a bit and does not make enough contact to spin. Machine is only 6 months old and has been used sparingly. Have removed the assembly and it does not look damaged. Short of duck tape how do I repair this? Thanks.

Hoover Power Washer Deluxe - Cannot get the Dirty Waster Tank Lid Latch to Latch correctly. In fact cannot get it to latch at all. This is the third machine I’ve tried and the latch on each will not close/clamp . Any advice/recommendations will be appreciated.

too much detergent in the water tank you can try removing the sponge filter or use less detergent in the water. you will know if theres too much soap the tank will be full of suds and that causes the float to slam shut every time

Always something with this cleaner, I will never buy from Hoover again.

My Hoover Dule power pet carpet cleaner will not power on after rising the brushes off

I have a Hoover power dash pet compact cleaner, I love it however the dirty tank will not latch back into place, I just used it and emptied it now it's not working HELP I have only used it 5 times

Clean water and solution will not work on Wash cycle but does on Rinse. I can just add solution to clean water and use the Rinse setting but the solution tank fills with water when I do that. Not a big deal because i can just drain the clean water and them rinse- but there has to be a reason that it is working- or rather- not working like it is.

1. The handle does not lock upright when it is to be switched off. There is a little lock seems to be worn off. Need replacement part

2. No suction in the water pick up slit area. How ever there is a good suction at the oval hose area which takes water in the dirty water storage tank

Sounded funny now wont turn on. Taken apart as much as I could to clean and find problem though it was only where the roll brush is. What should I try next? I've taken all screws out to dig further but it wont pop off.

Question: Brushes spin until pressure of carpet comes against them. Took it apart and the bearings are in good shape. Has not been used that much and do not see any reason for them not to turn under pressure. Any suggestions?

I had a issuse of no water spraying. I took the back cover off and found to the hose going to it was kinked. And wasn't allowing the water to pass. Good luck

My Hoover started making a high pitch sound.

I bought my hoover in march or april used it only once, and aside from a little leakage was very impressed. So last week took it out to use again and when i filled the clean water tank and solution up the whole tank of water to my surprise emptied out all over my living room floor. So i didn’t register it yet and I believe I threw away my receipt so can’t return. What can I do?

My upholstery brush works great … then to the carpets and the brushes turn, but a meer touch of a finger or lower to the carpet and they Stop.

There’s no UMPH! … (torque?) behind the turning brushes.

I took it apart and nothing seems broken/stripped … tabs, gears, wheels etc.

For those posting about suction issues and water not transferring between tanks I found a split in the hose near the dirty water tank, electrician tape fixed it. The hose (for hand attachments) suction cleaning was working/sucking while I was using upright carpet function- my only solution with good results was to place my hand over hose. My rotating power hand tool worked 2 days ago, but no more. Heavy sigh.

Trips GFCI as soon as it’s turned on. Tried different GFCI outlets, controlled by different GFCI devices. OHM meter shows 750 ohms from ground to hot wire. Some kind of internal partial short. Worth servicing?

First of all I love my shampooer im just not able to figure out why dirty water never gets pulled out of carpet. what happens is you put the water tank on and the water pours straight out the front. Is there a thing call a vapor lock where something inside gets stuck open or fails. Can’t find my receipt to take it in to get fixed. thank you in advance.

With everything in place, let the handle down to the floo, turn it on & press and hold the release for 1 solid minute. It should unclog the hose(es). My left side was ok, but right had no solution coming out or picking up & that worked!

Ok so I just fixed my problem with the water not spraying out! Where you hook up the hose for the furniture attachment, it wasn’t sealing all the way. I cleaned out around that hole and it is now working for the most part. Very upsetting though because this is a new machine!! It’s still not spraying like it should but at least it’s spraying I guess.

I have brush N Wash Hoover carpet cleaner. and the water started to insufficiently rinse, as it rinses from one side.

I solved the issue by removing the brushes cartridge. and I used an adequate pin to open the calcified holes. I think it’s better to add descaling agent to the clean water tank every period of time depending on the hardness of the applied water.

Remove the brush cartridge by pushing the four handles. And check the small water holes. it looks like you have some lime that affects the flow of water on the ceiling instead of dripping onto the brushes.

I have newer generation powerscrub that worksfine. My issue is that when I detach both fill tanks and release the handle, there is water still in the two plastic tubes attached to the inside of the handle. How you drain this water? Stagnant water is never good. Please advise.

I'm having the issue with the hose not spraying water, it trickles out if held to floor level. (guessing the pump died) Went through all the manuals, troubleshooting, warranty etc. and after finding out I missed the 30 day return window to the store. I had to call customer service. (if you look there are instructions everywhere not to return the machine to the store. Call customer service - this is actually a warning) Had I not missed the window to return it I would have a replacement already.

Under the 90 day warranty they will cover parts and service - but for me closest service place is an hour and a half away. So if I have to leave the machine there to be fixed its going to cost me 6 hrs of time and gas. If you buy this machine, test it well before the store return date, and ignore the big sticker on the back that says 'do not return to store call customer service, its really a warning. 🤷‍♀️

There is a foam filter in the base that the clean water tank sets in. My machine would not release water/solution at all. Removed the filter and it works great. The filter and machine are brand new and the filter is NOT plugged. The filter was interfering with the release plunger. Power Scrub XL

I've only used mine 2 or 3 times - loved it, but now, the water just runs out of the machine by itself. I've taken it apart, thinking a hose was clogged or something. But when I filled it up to try it again, the water just ran all over the floor - making me nuts -can't figure it out.

How does the machine go back together after taken completely apart because it wasn't working properly, only due to not operating it correctly . I don't know where to put the plastic sprocket with the I believe bearing.. the machine is now dismantled and never was broken . Good product. Would recommend, but not recommended letting your boyfriend be unattended with it.

After using the attachment to clean a car, I noticed the clean water just spilling out from under the machine. Now it leaks all the time regardless of using the attachment or not. I'm thinking a connection for broke or disconnected while I was using attachment. Any suggestions for fixing it?
