Mine is connected to dockingstation, goes to sleep and the does not remember it’s own screen. Not even shown in Display settings. It thinks the external monitor is it only screen. disconnecting from dock leaves the laptop screen black, not even backlighting on. Dispaly driver is the latest and windows update is happy with it how is. I have to restart disconnected from dock to get the screen going again. How do you troubleshoot this?

When I purchased the HP Elitebook 840 G5, it worked properly on the first day. However, on the second day, it started showing errors. Initially, the audio driver was not working, but I downloaded the proper driver to fix the issue. After a few days, the PC started shutting down on its own when I connected it to Wi-Fi or plugged in a USB driver. Additionally, it became difficult to open the PC and would only open after multiple shutdown and restart attempts. When it did finally open, it would restore to the last update. However, after a few more days, it stopped opening altogether and only displayed the message "preparing for automatic repair." what is the problem and how can i fix this problem?
