 Following the food being put on the tray and trying to put it in the fryer, the basket wouldn’t stay closed.

The latch area could be dirty; first, establish that the latch area is clear and not blocked by any debris. If the area is clean, the latch and hinge may need to be replaced.

This product does have a historical reputation for being faulty out of the factory, so some parts just need to be completely replaced. This includes replacing the basket with a new one if a factory defect is present.

When trying to pick up the basket, the handle broke off.

The air fryer turns on but stays quiet (the fan makes a noticeable noise).

This could be a software issue and can be remedied by a factory reset which will reboot the system and the fan will start working. There should be a reset button on the bottom of the fryer. Press that button and it should reset.

The fan will not turn if the fuse is faulty or has blown. It will need to be changed.

The fryer will not run if the timer is not set; therefore, the fan will not start if the timer is not set.

  After running the air-fryer, the food stayed cold.

This can be caused by the heat setting being on low; this will be as easy as changing the heat setting to high. First, you will need to press the ‘temp/time’ button. Then use the ’+’ and ‘-‘ buttons to adjust the temperature. If the problem persists, the cause is something else.

Resetting the fryer is as easy as locating the button on the bottom of the air fryer and pressing it.

The heating element may be defective and need to be replaced by a working part.

Going to use the air fryer and couldn’t control the settings.

First, ensure that the screen is not dirty, this could affect the performance of the machine. If the screen still does not work properly, any of the components could be broken. Gently push the screen back into place.
