DigiLand Won't Turn On
No matter what you do, you can't get your DigiLand DL801W to turn on.
Power Button is Stuck / Damaged
Before delving into the guts of your DigiLand tablet, make sure that the power button on the side of the device isn't stuck.
Drained / Faulty Battery
If your tablet won't turn on, especially if it has not been used recently, you may simply have a drained battery. Plug your tablet into your computer or AC adapter and see if anything happens. Ideally, your tablet will recognize it has been connected to a power source and charge its battery. If it will no longer charge, the battery may be damaged.
Faulty Display
It is possible that it appears nothing is happening because the display is bad. If you hold the tablet up to your ear and are able to hear sounds or vibrations but nothing appears on the display, it is possible that the display is damaged and needs to be replaced.
Faulty Motherboard
If your tablet does nothing when plugged into a computer, the problem most likely lies in the motherboard.
The Power Button is Unresponsive
Whenever you push the power button, the device does not change behavior.
Wiring Connection is Faulty
Check the wiring connection from and to the power button.
Debris Inside the Power Button Assembly
Use an air can to flush out any debris inside the power button assembly.
No Audio or Distorted Audio
Your device turns on and appears to work, but when you plug in headphones or speakers, the audio doesn't play properly.
Damaged Headphones / Speakers
It's unlikely your headphones or speakers are faulty, but it's worthwhile to eliminate these as the source of your problem at the beginning. Try your tablet with another set of headphones or speakers just to make sure that the problem is actually with the tablet.
Faulty Audio Jack
The most likely cause of audio output problems on a DigiLand tablet is a damaged audio-out jack. If no audio comes out, check that the volume level is high enough. If that doesn't fix the issue, the audio jack might need replaced.
Faulty Motherboard
If the tablet is connected to a computer and the tablet doesn't recognize the connection, the issue is probably the motherboard.
Tablet Doesn't Boot Past the Windows Logo
The tablet either boots to a Windows logo and freezes or continuously reboots.
Corrupted Windows OS
The Windows Operating System (OS) installed on you tablet might be corrupted. You will need to re-flash the device using a clean image of the Windows OS.
Unresponsive Microphone
When trying to Skype or use a calling app, the party you are speaking with cannot hear you through the microphone.
Damaged Wiring
If you can't be heard during a call, check the wiring from and to your microphone.
Faulty Microphone
If the wiring to and from the microphone seems fine, you might need to replace your microphone.
