Headphones don't connect with your mobile device
When trying to connect using bluetooth the device will not pair with your mobile device.
Headphone cables connected
Disconnect the back-up audio cable and disconnect the USB charging cable. Having headphones connected might be preventing the Bluetooth from connecting. Attempt to connect again without any other cables connected to the headphones.
Incorrect Bluetooth setup
On your mobile device, disable the Bluetooth feature and then re-enable. Delete your E7 from the Bluetooth listing on your device. Move your mobile device closer to the headphones and away from any interference or obstructions. Attempt to connect with another mobile device.
Bad Bluetooth connection
If the Bluetooth signal is weak, out of range, or if there is interference the connection may fail, or the sound will cut in and out.
Signal interference
Please move away from any other devices or obstructions. This includes barriers such as walls and any other wireless transmitters, Bluetooth headphones, and/or devices that are distanced less than 15 meters. You may need to move your mobile device closer to the headphones. Try to connect again.
Low battery power
Recharge the battery and check if the network signal is OK (whether the player is buffering). Having low battery power will reduce the strength of your Bluetooth connection.
Bluetooth software outdated
If the headphones and the Bluetooth device are not compatible via consistent issues with the headphones, your version of Bluetooth might be outdated. Make sure you have downloaded the most recent software update for your mobile device or have updated your drivers to the latest update on your computer.
No sound
When attempting to play audio through the headphones there is little to no sound.
Device isn’t on
Power on the headphones. If the headphones do not power on, charge the battery. Increase the volume on your headphones, your mobile device, and music source. If you are unable to adjust the volume on the headphones, or the volume button is stuck, you may need to replace the volume button.
No music signal
Make sure you are connected to the correct device by checking your Bluetooth on your phone and checking connected devices. Make sure the device is within proximity of the headphones. Move your mobile device closer to the headphones and away from any interference or obstructions. Use a different music source and try to connect a different mobile device. The problem might not be the headphones but the device that is trying to connect.
Battery won't charge
The headphones are having issues with basic functions such as staying on, connecting via Bluetooth, producing audible sound.
Bad power source
First secure the ends of the USB charging cable. If this doesn’t work, try another charging source as it might be just a problem with the electrical outlet. If your headphones have been exposed to high or low temperatures, let the headphones return to room temperature and try charging again. If these methods do not work, you may need to replace the battery.
Noise canceling function doesn’t work
When the headphones play audio and noise canceling is enabled, there is little to no difference in sound quality.
Noise canceling is off
Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on. Slide the noise canceling function button to the “NC” position. The noise canceling button is located on the bottom of the right ear piece.
Worn out ear cushions
Adjust the ear cushions to fit your ears. If the ear cushions are loose, reset the ear cushions. If there is damage to the ear cushions allowing noise to escape, you may need to replace them.

(Info point) The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.

When I connect my volume on my chrome os cant be altered. no matter how low or high i put it, it stays the same volume. I have to adjust on the site im listening to things on for it to work, and its not a problem with the computer because when i disconnect it alters.

It won't enter paring mode, It is disconnected from everything and flicking the switch only turns on the nc light(white) and leaving it at BT there is no light, the blue light never comes on and it never tries to pair, Also I plugged into the aux and no sound came from there either. I've tried holding the volume buttons and I have tried holding the play pause button, all to no avail.

Having the same problem, I've moved the device, removed the bluetooth connection, added bluetooth back on the video device....still out of sync on any device I've tried....haven't found a solution or mention of the issue....forced to buy new headphones.....not Cowin...

The headphones are great but the thing that I didn't like about them is when I was listening to music to sleep to i woke up at 3:14am and usually it's normal to wake up at that time for me so I didn't think Nothing of it till I heard a noise I look down and the noise was coming from the headphones I was scared because the headphones were saying something so I listened closely and it was a girl saying "shh" "shh" as if a person was shushing a baby to go to sleep I was scared because that has never happened to me so I looked at the user's guide and nothing on there mentioned a shushing mode I'm not sure what it was but it still scares me and my cat to, im going to church soon hopefully it was just the headphones and not some spirit..

I turned my headphones off but now cannot turn them back on. I have plugged them in and they are fully charged, the button does work and has been working. This has happened on other time and that inciting incident was also when I turned them off. I do need this fixed by next week and the last time it needed around a month to fix itself. Any way I can fix them faster to make them work, and I have tried turning them on.

My cowin E7 headphones are very low. Check the audio options of the cell phone and everything is correct. In fact, I tried other headphones and it sounds perfect, so it's not a problem with my cell phone, but the problem with the headphone. Will I have some disabled option of the headset that is preventing me from listening correctly? It should be noted that at first they sounded very powerful, just like the Cowin E7 sound. I have the same issue and the strangest thing is that my husband has an identical set and his work fine with my phone and other headphones work fine with my phone, but when I connect mine, the sound is garbled and very unclear. I cannot figure out why or how to fix the issue. I'm wondering if it might be due to an app I have on my phone, but if so, I have no idea which app and I don't want to uninstall every app on my phone and definitely don't want to factory reset my phone. I've unpaired and repaired them and have uninstalled some apps, but to no avail.

They work fine with other devices and my husband's identical headphones work fine with my phone, but my Cowin E7 headphones don't work properly with my phone. Has anyone had an issue with battery draining. I noticed at night when power was off and I walked past them that the blue power light was flickering as if there was a short in the circuit. Has anyone had this problem? How can I fix it.
