The touch screen may sometimes freeze temporarily or stop responding to the touch.

Dirty hands or a dirty tablet case may prevent the screen from responding to touch.To prevent this ensure that your hands are clean and oil, dirt, and sweat free. If the problem continues you may need to remove your case. Protective cases are sometimes so strong and protective that they may slow or stop the screen from responding.

This maybe caused by anything from a simple software failure, to a virus, to even a hardware issue. Resetting your device’s factory settings may help. If you tablet is not turning on it may have some problems with battery, screen or maybe a power button is broken.

The tablet may not be turning on due to a dead battery within the tablet. Try to lug your tablet for 1 minute and wait to see if the charge icon appear on the screen. Press and hold power button for 15 seconds to see if your device turn on. If it does not turn on leave it charges for 1 hour. After 1 hour disconnect the charging cable from your device. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to see if the device will turn back on. If it does not work buy new battery.

If you are having problem with your screen it may be a virus or it seems that your device is having some software’s problem. To get the solution for this problem, try to scan your device with a good antivirus. After that reset your device follow some steps: go to the home screen of the device, then tap on the Settings icon, choose the option "Privacy," now select the option "Reset," then confirm the action.

The device may not turn on due to a broken power button. Try to pull the device apart. Wisely take off the cover from the power switch, and remove the small broken bit of black plastic. Then, when you poke the small round metal contact you should hear it click as it turns on and off. ( To be able to do this when you've put the covers back on, drill a small hole in the back cover above where the contact is.) Then you can turn on/off the player by poking a paper clip through the hole.

The reasons for this problem is that you have too many programs open for your device and device is overheating.

Your device will slow down If you have many tabs open, close a few tabs and see if the tablet becomes more responsive. Restart the tablet if it does not.

The operating system will slow down if your device is too hot. Shut it down and let it cool down. If your tablet still overheats, contact the customer care.

If you set a password to enter your tablet then you may be locked out of it if you cannot remember the password.

A google account may be used to enter the tablet without the passcode. After entering the wrong password 11 times, "Forgot Password" will appear on your screen and you should press it. Try logging into your google account to access your tablet (the account must be the same account that was used to activate the tablet.

If you cannot figure out the passcode and the google account does not work, a master reset must be performed. Turn off the tablet, press "Power" button and "Back" button for 8 seconds simultaneously, press the "Back" button once the warning sign appears, scroll up to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" button using "Home/Menu" button and press "Back" button, scroll to "yes - delete all user data" and press "Back" button, and scroll to "reboot system now" and press "Back" button.

***This process will clear your tablet so be sure to back up any desired files on a computer or other device before resetting the tablet.

If your tablet is not connecting to the wifi or is running slow on the wifi.

The security settings may prevent the wifi from functioning properly. First, make sure the network security that your wireless network has actually matches the network security that you've associated with the wireless network on the tablet.

You can check and change the type of network security associated with the wireless network on your Coby Kyros by doing the following: navigate to the Settings menu on your tablet, tap "Wireless and Network Settings," select "Wi-Fi Settings," hold your finger against the name of the wireless network you want to check the network security settings for, enter the wireless network password if asked. At the next screen you'll be able to check, and if necessary, change the network security associated with the wireless network.

If this does not work, you can do the following close/quit some apps (these cause the tablet to be slow), switch off your device by tapping the power button unplug the router for 30 seconds and plug it back in tap the reset button on the router. If this doesn’t work, try restoring your device to its factory settings as outlined in the “Screen Failure” section.
