Cobra MR HH350 FLT Troubleshooting

Cobra is unresponsive when trying to turn it on. 

The charger may not be providing any electricity to the battery. In this scenario, the charger will have to be replaced. Buy a replacement charger.

The battery itself is not able to hold a charge or provide power to the device. To get the radio working again, the battery must be removed from the back of the radio and replaced with a new one. Buy a replacement battery and install it by inserting it into the radio.

Cobra screen is not responding to any inputs.

The motherboard may have died due to a variety of different factors, such as drops, issues with the capacitors or simply just old age. Making the radio work again requires complete disassembly of the radio and replacing the old motherboard with a new one. Buy a replacement motherboard and install it.

Pressing a button does not translate into an action on the device. 

The buttons themselves may be worn down, and no longer make contact with the motherboard. To get the buttons to work again, the old rubber buttons must be replaced with new ones, which requires disassembly of the radio. Buy replacement buttons and install them.

Cobra produces static or no sound when trying to communicate with other radios. 

The antenna may be damaged or worn down from prolonged usage. The broken antenna could prevent the radio from pickup up any signals. All that must be done to fix this is to unscrew the old antenna from the top of the radio and replace it with a new one. Buy a replacement antenna and install it.
