Unit Turns On But Does Not Brew
The power light is on, but the unit will not brew.
Faulty Power Button
If the machine will not turn on, the power button could have been not pressed down all the way. Double check the button by turning it on and off.
Inadequate Water Supply
If the machine will not turn on, it might not have enough water in the water reservoir. Open the top lid of the water reservoir and check that there is enough water to brew your coffee. There is a water-level gauge on the side of the water reservoir that displays the amount of water in the machine. If there is not enough water to use, add more water and try brewing again.
Dirty Machine
If the machine will not turn on, it might be clogged with minerals from your tap water. Fill the water reservoir with 5 cups of white vinegar and 3 cups of cold water. Hold the power button down for 3-5 seconds. When the coffee maker is finished discard the water/vinegar solution from the carafe. Rinse thoroughly by brewing 2-3 8-cup batches using cold water in the water reservoir.
Bad Power Connection to Unit
It is possible that the machine is not working properly due to lack of power. Check your home’s breaker box and make sure that the circuit is on and working. If it has been turned off, then reset the circuit breaker. If it is still malfunctioning, replacement of the power cord may be necessary.
Cold Coffee
Your coffee is not warm.
There Is No Power
Be sure that the coffee machine is switched on and has access to power. The outlet that you are using may not be working. Also, be sure to check that the cord is completely plugged into the wall and there are no faults in the wiring. Be sure that the prongs fit into the socket properly, if it does not securely go in one way try flipping the plug over and inserting into the socket that way.
The Auto Shut-Off Has Been Activated
When unused for a long period of time, the heating console will shut off automatically. This feature cannot be deactivated. Remove the previous pot and brew another batch or reheat coffee separately.
Overflowing
The filter basket overflows and the coffee spills over the top of it which causes a mess.
Improper Placement of Filter
Be sure that you have properly placed the filter in the top of the carafe. The filter should rest comfortably on top of it and should be directly underneath the showerhead.
Too Many Coffee Grounds
You may have added too many coffee grounds into the filter. In this case it will cause it to clog and not let enough water pass through. Remove all grounds and try again, using the specified amount of grounds.
Improper Placement of Carafe
The glass carafe may be incorrectly aligned with the warming plate. Place the carafe and ensure that it is centered on the warming plate, and try brewing again.
Broken Showerhead
There could be hard water buildup on the showerhead from the filter to the carafe, or it is damaged.
Coffee Grounds in Brewed Coffee
Every time you make coffee, there are coffee grounds in the carafe.
Improper Placement of Filter
Make sure that the coffee filter is properly situated in the basket. Improper placement results in coffee grounds flowing over the filter into the carafe.
Base of Machine Surrounded With Water
You find pools of water beneath your coffee machine.
Pouring Excess Water
The problem may be that you are simply using too much water to brew your coffee. Locate the gauge that displays how much water you have poured in, and do not pour above the 12-cup mark.
Tubing Loose/Damaged
The high temperature tubing in the bottom of the machine could be loose or damaged from movement or heavy use.
Heating Coil Leak
Using strong cleaning chemicals to remove scale from the coffeemaker can damage the heating coil.If the source of the leak is not from overflow water, turn the machine over (while empty), remove the screws from the bottom of the machine, and locate the source of the leak.

I cannot get the programmable strength to go on for the 19 Bar Expresso and 10 cup programmable. The instructions say. 5. Connect the appliance with power. (done) all icons will show on LSD. (done) and all indicators turn on for 2 seconds. with one beep sound, then the “Strength”. ( no strength button) with one bean. ? what does that mean. I hit the bean button and nothing happens. I still have same strength. It cooks the coffee well, but I cannot get it off one bean.

Got a Brim 19 Bar Espresso Maker for Christmas (didn’t get until last week 01/11/21) Took it out of the box went through the instructions, several times to make sure that I understood everything about it (well as far as the little manual went). After following the instructions on the “first start up” all of which I did and at start up it was very vary loud. Tested it with the “single” cup, again a very long loud noise from it, then it finished the single cup. But I noticed it didn’t filled the one shot espresso cup I have. Then tried the “2 cup” same noise and just as long, then it started to pour the espresso, but not a double shot, not a single but just about a 1/32 of an inch it poured out and then stopped the noise and went to stand by mode. I have contacted Brim first I tried by phone, it was answered by a Voice machine “press 1 for English, etc” finally it sounded as if someone had picked up the receiver and hug back up, tried 4 times same thing each time. I went to their web site, emailed nothing

My coffee making is making a squealing noise while brewing individual cups. Also it is not filling the cup with the amount of water added. It worked fine for the four months we have had it. We loved this coffee maker but what is wrong with it?? It takes a very long time to process the cup ( capsule) setting too.

Hello,
I just got my brim espresso maker on Best Buy on August 11th. Yesterday, August 30th my espresso maker is not brewing. The clock or the bar pressure gauge needle goes all the way to the left and from there it doesn’t move. I can hear the water and the steam working but not the brew coming. I tried it twice again without coffee with no water or any liquid coming from there. I always run water through the brew head after each use.
Help

After a week long vacation, the coffee maker won't brew a K-cup. The button lights briefly then turns off.
Please advise.
