Device will not connect to Wi-Fi
I am unable to access the internet or frequently lose Wi-Fi connection.
Airplane mode is on
If your airplane mode is on, then you won't be able to access the internet. To turn airplane mode off, go to the device’s settings page on the lower right hand side of the main screen and switch airplane mode from on to off.
Router Disconnected
If your Wi-Fi signal is low, the router is the main source and may need to be rebooted. To do this, unplug or turn off router for at least 15 seconds. Plug router back in, turn on, and wait for it to reboot. After the lights on the router turn on, try reconnecting your device to the network.
Router is too far away
If your device is too far away from the router, it may not receive strong signals. Try moving your device closer to the router to see if the connection speed increases.
Tablet is unable to click into laptop doc
I can't get my tablet to stay attached to the keyboard.
Broken magnets
If the magnet is broken, the device will not be able to convert back into a laptop. To fix this, you will need to get a new keyboard doc with working magnets to connect to your device.
Device turns off after short use
My device turned off without prompting.
Deactivated power button
If the power button is accidentally pushed, it will turn off. To turn the device back on, you can push and hold down on the small button on the top left side of the tablet on. After approximately 3 seconds the screen should turn on and start the Acer One 10. If the Acer One 10 does not turn on consider charging the battery.
Dead battery
If the battery indicator is low and your device turns off due to low power, the battery may be dead. To charge the battery, plug the AC charging adapter and cable into an acceptable receptacle. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the small USB port on the side of the Acer One 10. A Red, Amber or Blue light should illuminate next to the USB port depending on the state of the battery charge. If the battery does not charge consider obtaining a replacement charging adapter, charging cable, or replacing the battery.
Weak battery
If the battery does not stay charged or does not charge, then something could be draining the battery such as power settings or running applications. To fix this, turn the Acer One 10 turned on and adjust the Battery Saver settings by touching the battery icon in the lower right side of the screen. Adjust the settings to your desired preferences. If the battery power does not last long enough consider replacing the battery.
Device won’t boot
My device won't reach the home page after being turned on.
Outdated software
If the software is out of date, it will not run the latest applications. Check to see if there are any new BIOS updates available. This may help the device power up faster and bring you to the home page.
Not enough RAM
If your device doesn't have enough RAM, your computer may crash. To fix this, you may need to empty some space on your RAM by deleting unneeded files or you could try adding or replacing your RAM.
Unresponsive touchscreen
The touchscreen is frozen and/or does not respond to my fingers.
Outdated power save settings
If your power settings our out-of-date, your touch screen may be less effective. To fix this, adjust appropriate settings in the control panel, then restart the device to test whether or not the changes you have made were able to repair the problem.
Outdated driver
If your drivers are out-of-date, then your touch screen may be unresponsive. Updating your touchscreen or digitizer drivers may make your touchscreen more responsive. You can do this by downloading the latest drivers from the Acer support website.
Poor internal cable connections
Sometimes dirt or salt may be trapped and can cause problems with the connector when there is moisture in the air. In this case, you may need to clean the connection plugs or even reconnect loose wires in the motherboard to the touch screen.
Touch keyboard is not enabled in tablet mode
