Background and Identification
On April 20th 2021, Apple announced two new iPads Pro alongside a redesigned iMac and an updated Apple TV. Both iPads feature Apple’s custom M1 SoC, but only the 12.9” model has a new-for-iPads Liquid Retina XDR display, powered by mini-LED technology.
