The Boulder U-Fix-It Clinic http://boulderufixitclinic.org has been helping people fix their broken stuff at our free clinics since 2014. Our volunteer fix-it coaches encourage participants to take apart their broken thing, attempt to understand what makes it work, and identify what needs to be fixed.
We are partnered with our community non-profit recycling organization, Eco-Cycle http://www.ecocycle.org/charm/ufixit, where the Boulder U-Fix-It Clinics are part of the mission to build zero-waste communities.
