Power button not works on my iPhone5!

My power button on my iPhone 5 started working intermittently and it was super annoying having to press the button multiple times on varying sides of the button and pressures to get it to lock.

Success! Not an easy repair but patience, a lot of tape to hold down small screws and taking notes helped a lot. Not to mention the guide at ifixit!

Getting the screen off was a little scary. I ended up using a suction cup from my Garmin Navi that worked like a charm but nearly took the screen plus cables off in one-go when it came loose. Go easy on that thing.

Getting the battery out was the single hardest thing for me to do. It was really stuck on! I ended up sliding in a credit card to detach it from the case which ruined the plastic pull tab a bit but not that it mattered.
