This autumn, we packed up our toolkits and hit the road — from the UK to Italy, from Germany to the Netherlands — meeting repair enthusiasts, tinkerers, and everyday fixers who keep the repair spirit alive.
Each event had its own flavor, but all shared one message: repair connects us.

🇬🇧 FixFest, London
At FixFest 2025, community repairers, researchers, and policymakers came together to champion the Right to Repair. Between panel discussions and hands-on workshops, we joined conversations on how to make repair easier, fairer, and accessible for everyone — from grassroots initiatives to EU-level action.
🇫🇷 Back Market Slow Tech Summit & Event Les Numériques, Paris
In Paris, sustainability was the word of the day. At both the Slow Tech Summit organized by Backmarket and at our session with Les Numériques, repair took center stage — proving that a circular tech world isn’t just possible, it’s already happening.
Together with repair collectives and responsible tech companies, we showed that fixing devices can be as modern and forward-thinking as building new ones.

🇩🇪 Sustainability Days Böblingen & Repair Café Leonberg
Back home in Germany, our fall season kicked off with local impact: During the Sustainability Days at Mercaden Böblingen, visitors discovered creative ways to reuse and repair — from textile upcycling to live repair demos. A week later, the Repair Café Leonberg celebrated its 10-year anniversary, looking back on more than 1,800 repaired items in 115 sessions. Both events proved that small, local actions can spark lasting impact, and that the heart of repair often beats in neighborhood cafés and workshops.
🇩🇪 Maker Faire Tübingen
At the Maker Faire Tübingen, our iFixit booth drew curious visitors from all ages. Downstairs, we showcased our tools, shared repair tips, and talked about our mission. Upstairs, the workshop area buzzed as visitors tried out the FixHub Smart Soldering Iron and learned the basics of soldering. A full day of learning, tinkering, and connecting — exactly what repair is all about.

🇮🇹 Maker Faire Rome
Italy’s biggest maker festival never disappoints. On the grounds of Maker Faire Rome, we met countless visitors eager to fix instead of throw away. With live demos, we proved once again that repair can be fun, social, and empowering — a shared act of care for our things and our planet.
🇫🇷 National Repair Days, Paris
This year’s National Repair Days in France — co-organized by HOP (Halte à l’Obsolescence Programmée) and Make.org — brought repair into the spotlight at Ground Control Paris. Around 30 booths showcased everything from textile mending to tech repair, with iFixit inviting visitors to solder with the FixHub, clean their phones, and take part in our resources quiz.

🇳🇱 Reparatiefeest, The Hague
The Reparatiefeest in The Hague opened with inspiring talks that set the tone for a day dedicated to community repair. Hosted at Amare, the event brought together local Repair Cafés, volunteers, and visitors to celebrate the power of fixing — not just as a skill, but as a shared value. A day of connection and conversation that reminded everyone why repair matters.
A Season to Remember
This fall wasn’t just about events — it was about people. Volunteers who guided newcomers through their first fixes. Repair Café hosts who opened their doors. Makers who inspired us with their ingenuity- Every conversation, every repaired device, and every shared photo adds up to something much bigger: A Europe that repairs — together.
