Slowly use the opening tool, as it is easy to break the snap seals.
Use the plastic opening tool to pry the plastic covering away from the screen, it does not matter where you start.
You will hear some snapping and loud cracks as you release the case, but that is completely normal.
There may be some adhesive near the bottom of the screen, but it should be easy to remove by peeling it with the plastic opening tool.
