  • Connect both the SATA data and SATA power connectors to their respective sockets on the SSD.

  • Peel the backing off of the double sided tape.

  • Carefully set the SSD into the iMac optical bay as close to the lower left corner as possible.

  • Do not repeatedly stick and un-stick the tape, as the adhesive will become weaker.

  • Once you are happy with the SSD's placement, firmly press down along its edges to ensure full adhesion.

  • When re-installing the optical drive, the SATA cable will be sandwiched between the foam padding and the optical drive.

Collegare i connettori SATA di alimentazione e dei dati ai rispettivi connettori femmina dell'SSD.

Rimuovere il rivestimento dal nastro biadesivo.

Posizionare con attenzione l'SSD nell'alloggiamento ottico dell'iMac, il più vicino possibile all'angolo inferiore sinistro.

Non staccare e riattaccare il nastro ripetutamente, poiché ciò indebolirebbe l'adesivo.

Una volta soddisfatti del posizionamento dell'SSD, premere con fermezza lungo i bordi per garantire un'adesione completa.

Durante la reinstallazione dell'unità ottica, il connettore SATA verrà bloccato fra il rivestimento in schiuma e l'unità ottica.
