  • The standard hard disk drive that comes with this laptop model should have a ribbon attached to it. Pull this ribbon back until the hard drive comes out of the socket.

  • If your drive doesn’t have this ribbon, it can be pushed out of place by wedging a plastic opening tool in between the drive and its socket and push it out.
