  • Turn the device upside down to reveal the rubber section of the back plate. Using a metal spudger, carefully wedge the blunt tip into the space between the aluminum back plate and the rubber, separating the two pieces.

  • This may take a few minutes to pry the rubber off completely. Once your are able to get a grip on the rubber it is easier to peel it off using your hands.

  • Depending on air temperature and how set the adhesive is, you may need to spend some time warming the back plate with a hot plate (on low) or hair dryer.

  • Don't worry about re-applying adhesive to the rubber; the remaining adhesive has plenty of strength to affix itself to the aluminum.

Voltea el dispositivo para revelar la sección de goma de la placa posterior. Con un spudger de metal, introduzca con cuidado la punta roma en el espacio entre la placa posterior de aluminio y la goma, separando las dos piezas.

Es posible que necesites unos minutos para quitar la goma por completo. Una vez que puedas agarrar la goma, será más fácil quitarla con las manos.

Dependiendo de la temperatura del aire y de qué tan fijado esté el adhesivo, es posible que debas dedicar algún tiempo a calentar la placa posterior con una placa caliente (a temperatura baja) o un secador de pelo.

No te preocupes por volver a aplicar adhesivo a la goma; el adhesivo restante tiene mucha fuerza para fijarse al aluminio.
