  • Pour the remaining oil out of the filter. Set it top-side down in the oil drain pan to allow any excess oil to drain.

  • Now grab a clean rag or paper towel and reach up into the engine again to wipe off any oil from the face of the housing, where the new oil filter will seal against.

  • You can exit from beneath the car, and remove the oil drain pan as well.

Videz l'huile restante du filtre. Mettez-le à l'envers dans le bac de vidange, afin de permettre l'évacuation de l'excédent d'huile.

Ensuite, prenez un chiffon propre ou une serviette en papier et nettoyez toute trace d'huile sur la surface du boîtier à l'endroit où le filtre neuf sera positionné.

Vous pouvez sortir d'en dessous la voiture et retirer le bac d'huile de vidange.
