  • Place the oil filler cap back into the oil filler hole and twist it clockwise until it is snug,

  • Locate, pull out, and wipe off the end of the engine oil dipstick. The dipstick has a yellow handle.

  • Place the oil dipstick back into its hole all the way and remove it again. Note the oil level on the dipstick; it should be between the two bumps. If the oil is below the bottom bump you will need to add oil, and if it is above the top bump you will need to drain some oil.

  • Adjust the oil level as necessary and put the dipstick back when you are done.

Setze den Ölfilterdeckel wieder auf die Einfüllöffnung zurück und drehe diesen im Uhrzeigersinn auf, bis er fest sitzt.

Finde den Ölmesstab der einen gelben Griff hat und wische das Ende ab, sodass sich kein Öl mehr darauf befindet.

Stecke den Ölmesstab nun nochmal komplett in die Öffnung und ziehe ihn anschließend erneut heraus. Beim Ablesen des Ölstandes sollte sich dieser nun zwischen den zwei Erhebungen befinden. Ist der Ölstand zu niedrig, dann fülle etwas Öl nach. Ist der Ölstand zu hoch, musst du überschüssiges Öl ablassen.

Wenn du den korrekten Ölstand eingestellt hast, dann steckst du den Ölmesstab wieder zurück an seinen Platz.
