Preparing the Motorcycle

  • For the best access to the brake pads, we recommend securing the motorcycle in an upright position.

  • If you do not have a motorcycle lift, you will still be able change the brake pads, but it is still a good idea to secure the front wheel in place.

  • Be sure to allow time for the brake pads to cool completely before working on them. It may take ten to twenty minutes, especially if the motorcycle has just been ridden.

Préparation de la moto

Pour un meilleur accès aux plaquettes de frein, nous vous recommandons de fixer la moto en position verticale.

Si vous ne disposez pas d'un lève moto, vous pourrez quand même changer les plaquettes de frein, mais dans ce cas, il serait bien de fixer la roue avant en place.

Veillez à laisser le temps aux plaquettes de frein de refroidir complètement avant de travailler dessus. Cela peut prendre dix à vingt minutes, surtout si la moto vient d'être utilisée.
