  • I then reassembled the iMac, attaching the screen, repairing EMI tape then putting the front on! It now works perfectly with the Mini DisplayPort output of my screen-less MacBook Pro and I have an available HDMI cable to attach any other device.

  • The only thing that was not changeable was the CCFL brightness, but using Shades preference pane solves this satisfactorily for me.

Luego volví a armar el iMac, coloqué la pantalla, reparé la cinta EMI y luego coloqué el frente. Ahora funciona perfectamente con la salida Mini DisplayPort de mi MacBook Pro sin pantalla y tengo un cable HDMI disponible para conectar cualquier otro dispositivo.

Lo único que no se podía cambiar era el brillo de CCFL, pero usar el panel de preferencias Shades lo resuelve satisfactoriamente para mí.
