Gut the iMac

  • Firstly, I completely gutted the iMac, safely keeping the LCD screen to one side. I also repaired any torn EMI shielding and shielded all holes, with the exception of the power in, vent above this. (I also left the 3x USB ports free to fit a USB hub, but this didn't work great, so ended up being removed).

Vider l'iMac

Tout d'abord, j'ai complètement vidé l'iMac, gardé l'écran de côté. J'ai aussi réparé le blindage électromagnétique EMI tordu et bouché tout les trous à l'exception de l'alimentation et de l'aération. (J'ai aussi laissé 3 ports USB pour en faire un hub USB, mais ça ne fonctionnait pas bien, donc j'ai fini par l'enlever).
