  • The display should now be free from the rest of the iPod.

  • During reassembly, its generally easier to put the screen in place and connect the front panel to the framework with the screen in between before connecting the cable, since the new screen cable can be rigid enough to loosen the screen when trying to put the cable back in.

Beim Wiederzusammenbau ist es im Allgemeinen einfacher, das Display zu montieren und das Frontpanel mit dazwischen liegenden Display mit dem Rahmen zu verbinden, bevor das Kabel angeschlossen wird. Das neue Displaykabel kann nämlich so steif sein, dass sich das Display ablöst, wenn man versucht, das Kabel wieder einzuführen.
