  • Prop the top edge of the Surface up a couple inches so the whole Surface slopes towards the bottom edge.

  • Drip adhesive remover or high-concentration (90% or higher) isopropyl alcohol under the top edge of the battery.

  • If you are using adhesive remover, follow these preparation steps first.

  • Let the solvent sit and soak into the adhesive for 2-3 minutes before continuing.

Laat de bovenkant van de Surface op een object rusten zodat de Surface schuin omhoog blijft staan. Zo zorg je dat alle vloeistof automatisch naar beneden loopt.

Druppel wat lijmverwijderaar of wat isopropyl alcohol (>90%) onder de bovenkant van de batterij.

Zorg dat je, als je gebruik maakt van lijmverwijderaar, eerst deze voorbereidende maatregelen neemt.

Laat de vloeistof gedurende 2-3 minuten met rust zodat deze in de lijm kan trekken. Ga daarna pas verder met de volgende stap.
