  • Samsung got some flak from consumers for reducing battery capacity in last year's S6. It seems they took the hint and made up for it by including this 3000 mAh battery in the S7.

  • That's a significant boost over the Galaxy S6's 2550 mAh battery, and it even beats the much larger iPhone 6s Plus's 2750 mAh powerplant.

  • Sadly, as evidenced by this important warning label, the S7's battery does not work in the presence of puppies.

  • Although the battery upgrade means more time to binge on apps and games, the battery itself is well wedged and adhered in place, making extraction a little tough.

  • If it wasn't designed to be readily removed, then it wasn't intended to be repaired or replaced. Boo.

Verbraucher kritisierten die Tatsache, dass Samsung die Akkuleistung im letztjährigen S6 verringert hatte. Anscheinend ist die Botschaft angekommen und im S7 wird das durch diesen 3000 mAh wieder wettgemacht.

Das ist eine erhebliche Steigerung im Vergleich zum 2550 mAh Akku des Galaxy S6, und es übertrifft sogar das 2750 mAh Antrieb des wesentlich grösseren iPhone 6s Plus.

Der große Warnaufkleber zeigt allerdings, dass der S7 Akku leider nicht in der Gegenwart von Welpen funktioniert.

Obwohl durch das Akku-Upgrade mehr Zeit für Apps und Spiele zur Verfügung steht, ist der Akku selbst ganz schön eingezwängt und gut festgeklebt, sodass der Ausbau ziemlich kompliziert ist.

Wenn er nicht so konzipiert wurde, dass man ihn leicht entfernen kann, dann ist ein Austausch oder eine Reparatur auch nicht beabsichtigt. Buuh.
