Removing the print head

  • Remove the springs that maintain the print head.

  • Remove the print head by pulling on the ribbons. These are delicate and easily damaged if attempting to clean with alcohol.

  • In case you want to replace the print head, the spare part reference is: CN688A

  • When inserting the print head after cleaning or replacing, make sure the horizontal plastic ribbon is between the plastic guides, as shown in the last picture. Getting this wrong may cause the print head to jam when you put the power back on at the end.

Quitando el cabezal de impresión

Quita los muelles que sujetan el cabezal.

Retira el cabezal de impresión tirando de las cintas. Estas son delicadas y se dañan fácilmente si se intentan limpiar con alcohol.

En el caso de que quieras reemplazar el cabezal, la referencia de la pieza de recambio es: CN688A.

Al insertar el cabezal después de la limpieza o el recambio, asegúrate de que la cinta de plástico horizontal queda en medio de las guías de plástico, como se muestra en la última foto.Insertar esta pieza de forma errónea puede causar que el cabezal se enganche cuando, al final, vuelvas a enchufar el aparato a la corriente .
