  • While you do have to remove the motherboard to access the main camera, it turns out that only the camera bracket is soldered to the board. The camera itself is easily disconnected and removed.

  • This 12.3 MP camera features the same Sony IMX377 image sensor and ƒ/2.0 lens as found in the 5X, but thanks to the boost in processing power from the Snapdragon 810, the 6P can take advantage of an EIS (electronic image stabilization) algorithm, and shoot slow-mo video at up to 240 fps.

Se è vero che si deve effettivamente rimuovere la scheda madre per avere accesso alla fotocamera principale, scopriamo che solo la staffa della fotocamera è saldata sulla scheda. La fotocamera in quanto tale, invece, si disconnette e si rimuove con facilità.

Questa fotocamera da 12,3 MP adotta lo stesso sensore di immagine Sony IMX377 e lo stesso obiettivo ƒ/2.0 del 5X ma, grazie all'incremento della potenza di calcolo dato dal processore Snapdragon 810, il 6P può trarre beneficio da un algoritmo EIS (stabilizzazione dell'immagine elettronica) e può riprendere video rallentati fino a 240 fps.
