Swap Motor Contacts

  • Check motor operation by pulling connector and applying 9V with an external power source (battery or bench supply) to the plug.

  • If the motor turns with reversed polarity then proceed by swapping black and red contacts leading to the motor. With a little flathead screwdriver press the contact spring, pull out the cable.

  • If the motor only turns by applying external power and a little twist or not at all, only solution is to replace the motor. Mabuchi RF-500TB-12560 is readily available on the internet.

Changement des contacts du moteur

Vérifier le fonctionnement du moteur en débranchant le connecteur et en appliquant une tension de 9V à l'aide d'une source d'alimentation externe (batterie ou banc d'essai) sur la prise.

Si le moteur tourne avec une polarité inversée, procéder à l'échange des contacts noir et rouge menant au moteur. À l'aide d'un petit tournevis plat, appuyer sur le ressort du contact et retirer le câble.

Si le moteur ne tourne qu'en présence d'une alimentation externe et d'une légère rotation, voire pas du tout, la seule solution est de le remplacer. Le Mabuchi RF-500TB-12560 est facilement disponible sur Internet.
