Sometimes the motor stops, while heating is still in function. You can fix this in 15 min.
You'll certainly need a screwdriver, here's a guide on how to choose the right one: Choosing the Right Screwdriver Bit.
-
-
Heat up to 50°C/120°F in oven in order to make the clips inside smooth.
-
-
-
Open the bottom with a strong screwdriver. Be careful not to break the clips inside
-
-
-
-
Pull out the circuit board and the motor. After module is removed the on/off pad must be pressed in/through
-
-
-
Check motor operation by pulling connector and applying 9V with an external power source (battery or bench supply) to the plug.
-
If the motor turns with reversed polarity then proceed by swapping black and red contacts leading to the motor. With a little flathead screwdriver press the contact spring, pull out the cable.
-
If the motor only turns by applying external power and a little twist or not at all, only solution is to replace the motor. Mabuchi RF-500TB-12560 is readily available on the internet.

-
Carefully embed the thermal contact in conducting paste. Then press bottom into body until you hear a clic three times. At last switch must be pressed in.
-
To proof the function use water.

Bravo, vielen Dank. Hat bestens funktioniert, in 5 min war alles erledigt!
Many thanks!
I couldn't believe reversing polarity would work, but it did!

Yes, it's a miracle. :-)

If reversing the wires solves your problem then it was just a loose or poor contact at the switch causing the problem.
You are not switching polarity when swapping the wires. Like a light switch, it only serves as a connection/disconnection point for electrical flow.

Gibt's da auch eine technische Begründung dazu, warum der bloße Tausch der Motoranschlüsse den Fehler behebt?
Ich würd's nur gerne verstehen.
