  • Get your soldering tools ready. You need a soldering iron and solder.

  • You also need some insulation. You can use either heat shrink tubing or electrical tape.

  • In this guide we used heat shrink for one wire and electrical tape for the other, to show how you would use each one.

  • Splice the wires together by wrapping them around each other.

  • Remember to put the heat shrink on the wire before you splice it to the other side.

Prepara tus herramientas para soldar. Necesitarás un hierro de soldadura y estaño.

También necesitarás algo de aislante. Puedes utilizar tanto tubo termorretráctil como cinta aislante de electricista.

En esta guía usaremos tubo termorretráctil para un cable y cinta aislante para el otro, para que veas cómo usar ambas.

Empalma los extremos de los cables juntos trenzándolos entre ellos.

Recuerda poner el tubo termorretráctil en el cable antes de empalmarlo con el otro extremo del cable.
