Identifying the Misaligned Keys

  • Use tweezers to hold the rolling paper.

  • Press the key lightly on the paper and pull outward.

  • Try this at eight different angles from the center of the key.

  • If the felt pad is making proper contact, you should feel a drag. If you feel that there is little or no drag, then you have identified the key that needs to be repaired.

  • Hopefully, there is only one side of the key that has this issue. Otherwise, you may need a new felt pad.

Die nicht gut ausgerichtete Klappe finden

Halte den Papierstreifen mit einer Pinzette fest und lege in auf den Rand der Kontaktfläche des Polsters.

Drücke eine Klappe leicht auf das Papier und ziehe daran.

Versuche dies umlaufend in 8 verschiedene Richtungen an 8 verschiedenen Stellen.

Wenn ein guter Kontakt vorhanden ist, solltest du einen Widerstand fühlen. Wenn kein oder nur ein geringer Widerstand vorhanden ist, hast du die zu reparierende Stelle gefunden.

Hoffentlich besitzt die Klappe nur zu einer Seite einen Spalt. Ansonsten muss das Polster komplett getauscht werden.
