  • We've said it before and we'll say it again: Apple is all about the little things. The color of the Pentalobe screws at the bottom of the case match the color of the case. Oh, Apple.

  • It seems the iPhone display assembly has toughened up a bit since we last met. It now features four adhesive strips lining the perimeter of the phone.

  • Still, this strong adhesive is no match for our handy-dandy iSclack.

  • Talk about the little things—it seems even the adhesive strip is color-matched to the display: white for white, and black for black.

  • iPhone displays of yore weren't exactly in danger of falling out of the phone, so why the need for adhesive—or could this be a waterproof gasket?

Wir haben es schon mal erwähnt und wir sagen es gerne noch einmal: Bei Apple geht's immer um die Kleinigkeiten. Die Farbe der Pentalobe-Schrauben unten am Gehäuse haben exakt die gleiche Farbe wie das Gehäuse. Was soll man dazu noch sagen.

Es sieht so aus, als ob sich die Displayeinheit gestärkt hat, seitdem wir ihr zum letzten Mal begegnet sind. Bester Beweis dafür sind die vier Klebestreifen, die rundherum innen am Rahmen angebracht sind.

Unser iSclack meistert die vom Kleber gestellte Herausforderung spielend.

Wo wir gerade von den kleinen Dingen sprechen - es sieht so aus, also ob der Klebestreifen farblich zum Display passt: weiß zu weiß, schwarz zu schwarz.

Bei den iPhone Displays von einst bestand nicht gerade die Gefahr, dass sie aus dem Rahmen fallen, warum also der Kleber? Ist das etwa ein wasserfester Dichtungsring?
